Earlier this week I was watching a DVD that took place in Australia. One of the characters, a child, had run through the wet woods and picked up leeches on her legs. The family immediately got salt to pour onto the leeches to get them to release. That caused me to connect their slimey nature to snails and slugs, and the “light” went on as to this remedy.
