Are you prepared to handle emergency situations like being stranded in the Wilderness or surviving in an Urban environment after a catastrophic event has occurred when there is no running water or electricity?

Survivaltek teaches the fundamentals of survival skills and priorities. You will learn how to exploit the resources available to you in order to stay alive, position yourself for rescue, or find your way to civilization.

There is no substitute for first-hand experience, consequently, Survivaltek now offers the following classes by appointment for groups:

SURVIVAL BASICS – You will learn the priorities of survival – the first actions to take and the significance they have. You will learn what items to include in a survival kit and how to use them.
BIVOUAC BASICS – In an emergency situation when you have to “Bug-Out” and leave your home or workplace, you will learn what essentials should be included in your 3-Day travel bag.
FIRECRAFT 101 – You will learn the nature of fire and it’s importance in survival. You will learn “Ken’s five fire catagories” and have the opportunity create fire in each one. You will also learn different ways to build a campfire for keeping warm, cooking, and signaling.
PRIMITIVE AND EMERGENCY COOKING – You will learn basic ways to cook food without modern appliances. Learn to make improvised utensils from both modern materials and primitive resources.
“GRID-DOWN” SURVIVAL – You will learn how to survive without the conventional utilities of electrical power and water if a natural disaster takes down your regional power grid. You will learn ways to stay warm, have light, find and purify water, and cook using various methods. You will recieve a list of suggested food and supplies to keep on hand now.

    Saw you on WXII12 with Austin Cavenness and want to get more info. Especially about your survival classes (especially the one about living off the land). It mentions that you do the classes in groups. How many people is that and when do you hold them. Where are you located and do you hold your classes in various places in North Carolina?
