Think about this, a skateboard would make a great multipurpose survival tool, it can act as a great prop between rocks on a river to sit and fish, on rough terrain, or angled parallel to a tree as a backrest, if you catch game you can tie it off and drag behind you with paracord, or any gear like extra wood, The griptape could be good for washing clothes, sanding down arrows or.wood, cleaning fish, flip it over and its a cutting board, worse case scenario its varnished and sealed break it up for fire wood, and of course his snowshoes idea. LOL Light weight, multiuses, great idea! :) Take a lightweight skateboard backpacking in the wilderness!
