Tipi Frame Lay-Up
A Tipi frame is tied in a special way by laying 1 pole at an angle on top of 2 poles. The top pole is tied with a clove hitch, and then the 3 poles are lashed together and finished with a half hitch or two. The poles are then raised and spread and are appropriately tight and sturdy. Then lay additional poles between the tripod legs.
